Fun with Book Trailers & a Cheeky Trick or Treat Event!

Book trailers are becoming more and more popular as a marketing tool for writer's to spread the word and build the anticipation about thier new releases. I've also seen some fun trailers that bring you up to speed on a series so you are ready for when the next book releases. I've watched quite a few videos lately and wanted to share just a few of them with you.

Enjoy and I'd love to hear if you think book trailers would help you decide to buy a book or not, or if you couldn't care less about them. What do you like or not like about them and what do you think might make one stand out for you? Oh - and be sure to stop by later and over the weekend as I'll be doing a special Cheeky Trick or Treat giveaway event!

  1. Yeah, I like book trailers when they give a feel for the mood of the book in a way that goes beyond the back cover summary. But honestly, a cheesy book trailer (like simply a collage of muscle-bound men) can turn me off a book too.

  2. I love book trailers! I'm with Nicki though, I want more substance in them. I want to really get a feel for the book.
